Kusama: Cosmic Nature was an exhibition held at the New York Botanical Garden from April 10th through

October 31st, 2021. We took inspiration from one profound sculpture from this exhibition where a giant red and

gold pumpkin was placed in the center of a greenhouse. As a group, we recreated this scene but with a twist,

instead adding the signature black and yellow colors from some of Kusama's other pumpkin installations.

In the center of the pumpkin, we placed a mannequin resembling Kusama's iconic look that features a red wig and

comical sunglasses. Around the pumpkin is a variety of greenery, helping the scene to look as overgrown and wild

as it is in person.
